Ross H. Weaver, PharmD, MBA
President

Drug Development Insights’ industry expertise begins with its president, Dr. Ross Weaver.

Dr. Weaver has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare field. This includes 10 years of providing market research services to executives at pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies as former President of Weaver & Associates, and as Senior Partner of Weaver & Holihan.

Prior to establishing his own pharmaceutical market research firm, Dr. Weaver spent 7 years as a senior executive at a major pharmaceutical company where he ran the U.S. operations in New Product Planning, Licensing, and New Product Market Research at (Astra) Zeneca. Ross had also served as a Senior Scientist and Director of Technology with the American Medical Association.

Dr. Weaver’s educational training includes a B.S. in Pharmacy (University of Kansas), PharmD (University of Tennessee), post-doctoral training in clinical pharmacokinetics (University of Minnesota), and an MBA (University of Chicago).

Heather Giardinelli
Director of Operations

Heather is the Director of Operations at Drug Development Insights. She has over 14 years of experience in marketing research and has been a project director since 1999. Heather has extensive experience in planning, managing and executing complex research projects for major pharmaceutical clients.

Heather has practiced marketing research at a variety of levels including project direction with responsibility for the design and execution of custom quantitative and qualitative research, field management, focus group facility direction, development of research standards and practices, as well as personnel training and management. She has extensive experience with international marketing research, having conducted both quantitative and qualitative studies in Europe, Asia and Latin America, as well as the Middle East and emerging markets.
